Yin Chi (Qi)
Water is a Yin force, which is darker, negative, of the dead, passive and feminine.
Basic in Feng Shui are the Five Elements, which are fire, earth, metal, water and wood. Each of these has several different meanings and is associated with different compass directions.
The Chinese have an expression that says "Chong Fung Chui Hey", which means "Protect your space from the blowing wind and keep the good chi in your space".
Wind or air is a Yang force, which is associated with light, movement, strength, the living, masculine and positive elements.
