The most important aspect of the Feng Shui of our home is the location and the direction.
Feng Shui Colors
Basic in Feng Shui are the Five Elements, which are fire, earth, metal, water and wood. Each of these has several different meanings and is associated with different compass directions.
South: Red
West: White, Gold, and Silver
North: Black, Grey, Dark blue, and Dark green
East: Green
Central: Beige, Brown, and Yellow (Earth Tone)
Feng Shui Masters use a special compass, called the Lo Pan, to accurately determine the direction our homes face.
The inner circle of the Lo Pan shows the eight houses:
The Chinese have an expression that says "Chong Fung Chui Hey", which means "Protect your space from the blowing wind and keep the good chi in your space".
The Man Wong Ba Gua is a temporal or time element interpretation of the trigrams.
First we look at the placement of winter, spring, summer and autumn.
