The Chinese have an expression that says "Chong Fung Chui Hey", which means "Protect your space from the blowing wind and keep the good chi in your space". When we are in an environment with fresh air, we will be more alert and our thinking process will be quicker. This is the natural chi at work in our bodies.

Wind and Water are some of the important factors that affect the chi flow.

Nature tries its best to balance any inequality, and when there's a difference in temperature in a confined space, it will gradually mixes itself until it reaches a balance point; during this process, wind is created. Likewise, when an object is moving in a space, it causes currents in the air. This also generates wind. Wind, a result of air movement, has a huge impact on the direction of airflow.

Most water absorb heat differently from the earth, so wind alters its direction at different time period of the day. Water also evaporates from the heat of the sunlight, so it undoubtedly has infuence over the airflow.

As a result, when use the term "Feng Shui", we are actually examining how the chi flow. And why is this important? The reason is simple, if we can breath in good and balance chi, it will provide good oxygen for our brain, which will allow us to have more energy and think more clearer.
